Brac - Emil looses his first tooth

Up we get today to a really early morning. It's only 7.30am. Emil still complaining that his tooth hurts, so off we go to the local doctor/dentist in town. We get here and think, great not many people this shouldn't take long. Only to find that the dentist doesn't open until 2.30 in the afternoon. So back we go to the apartment and plan to return at 2:30 in the afternoon.

Back to the apartment we get and find Marina the house keeper is there. She asks about are adventures over the past day and our early walk this morning. We inform her of Emil's events and that we just went up to the dentist and that it was closed. She advises us that there is a private dentist in Bol and that we should  try and see her if we want.  We say yes and she makes the phone call to the dentist and advises us we can go immediately.  Off we go, Marina coming with us, to show us where it is. We get there, no waiting, straight in we go. Emil sits down in the chair, she take one look at it and advises that it needs to come out.  It will only hurt more to leave it in. So some magic spray and then out it comes. We have a few tears, but Emil was very brave. All good. Not even 5 minutes all up. The bill 100 kuna = $16.50, unbelievable. What would this have cost us back home? Back to the apartment we go, thank Marina for her help and her time. What a lovely lady.

Emil has just lost his first tooth, and this event will always be one to be remembered, for many reasons.
Emil left Australia with a loose bottom tooth and was so desperate for it to fall out so the tooth fairy could visit but this tooth was taking its time and now he is going to come home with one of his top teeth missing.  He is so proud of losing his first tooth he can't stop talking about it and smiling to us to show the gap in his mouth.  He is a pisser but that is our boy, not much will stop him in his tracks.

The rest of the morning and afternoon is spent just relaxing and taking it easy in the apartment, watching TV, playing cards - UNO, drawing and playing games on the iPad.  It was a total Emil day.

For dinner to go back down to the restaurant by the beach just in front of Hotel Borak. Again we get a great table with a great view.

We order a seafood platter to share between the two of us. Once again not disappointed with our choice.

After dinner we go down to the kids play area and let Emil have a few rides and another go on the bungee jumping again. He has so much fun.

Back to our apartment we go. It's around 10.30pm and Emil is off to bed. He places his tooth under his pillow and makes the biggest wish for the tooth fairy to come. Falls asleep straight away. He can't wait until morning.
