Radovljica - Swimming Pool

Today we wake around 10am. It's another warm day and Stric and Strina have the day already planned out for us. Breakfast is waiting for us. We have a quick breakfast while Stric picks up the girls - Teja and Nusa. The temperature outside is already in the 30's.  We are off the the local pools - Radovljica.  We have a quick 15 minute drive and we are there.
In we go, only to find it a lot bigger than we expected. There are 3 big pools all outside. Apparently this is the pools that the Slovenian swimming squad train at. They have all the pictures up everywhere. The pool was good and it wasn't packed. Most people are off on their summer holidays down at the beach. Better for us. We find a shady spot under some trees, drop off our stuff and then in the water we go. Today's temperature is about 30 degrees. The water is cool and a real relief. We swim around a little and cool right down. Emil and Nusa just keep jumping in and out, one after another competing against each other to see who is faster. These 2 are one of a kind.

The kids claimed that they are starving so Strina gets them a pizza.

We stay at the pool until around 3.30pm. We could have stayed longed but Stric and Strina had to go.  We get back home, relax a little then freshen up to go to Damjana's for dinner. They are preparing a BBQ, plus Strina is making her famous Bifstek (raw beef minced very fine with additives and eaten like a patee), our favourite. This we have been waiting for.  However she has made enough for 20 people not just a handful. Out of control. We get to Damjana's eat, drink and have a very enjoyable evening.

The girls and Emil do some singing and dancing performances for us. The girls also love One Direction.

Followed by a harmonica performance from Tomasz, with a quick lesson for Marjan. What a laugh!!

Another late night. We call it a night around 11:30pm.
