Vodice - Day 2

We get up today and it is very warm outside. We take our towels out by the pool and grab some chairs, then go up for breakfast. After breakfast straight back out by the pool to soak up the sun and enjoy the water. We spend all day out by the pool. It seems a little cooler today, however is was still 35 degrees.














Back up to our room to freshen up before we head off for dinner.  Just about to leave and OMG

Who is this man ?????   Can someone please help me?????

I think l saw him 10 or so years ago, has he finally returned? 

Once l get over my shock, we make our way to Vodice centre for dinner. Strolling through the center we find this impressionist. He was rather cool.

We go for a mini-train ride, that takes us from the town centre, along the water to our hotel and then back to the town centre.  Emil is so excited. 

When we get back in town, we go to a little restaurant, tucked away in one of the little alleyways. We have a lovely dinner of lignje na zaru (BBQ squid) with a blitva (silverbeet) and potato salad and crumbed calamari with a mixed salad.  Devine.

After dinner we stroll through the stalls and then head back to our hotel. Emil complaining that he is tired. We get back and he falls asleep immediately. Marjan and I stay up and watch the closing ceremony of the London Olympics. Eventually we both fall asleep.
